The American Pathway Advisory is a single premium deferred annuity with a market value adjustment. The minimum initial contribution is $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. In the first contract year, up to 10% of the premium amount may be withdrawn without incurring an MVA . Up to 10% of the previous anniversary contract value may be withdrawn each contract year without incurring a market value adjustment. Systematic withdrawal is an option. There are no surrender charges. The contract may be annuitized anytime after three years from the contract date. MVA charges are waived in the event of death, diagnosis of a terminal illness or extended care. Advisory Fees under this contract are NOT subject to a cap. In addition, any Adviser Fees withdrawn from this contract would be subject to applicable surrender / withdrawal charges, taxes and pre-59 ½ withdrawal penalties. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty. Early surrender charges may also apply. Guarantees based on claims paying ability of insurer. Products / features may not be available in all states.
