The TruSelect MYGA is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum single premium is $5,000 for qualified and $10,000 for non-qualified money. 10% of the account value as of the end of the prior contract anniversary may be withdrawn without deduction of a withdrawal or surrender charge after the first contract year. Surrender charges are five and three years in duration and are waived in the event of death, nursing home and diagnosis of a terminal illness. State variations may apply. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
