The rider provides a guaranteed return of principal with a reset.
RIDER CANCELLATION
Benefit may automatically terminate under certain conditions.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) annuitization, 2) surrender, 3) death, or 4) change in ownership.

WITHDRAWAL NOTES
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
If withdrawals in a contract year exceed the Annual Benefit Payment and the resulting Benefit Base exceeds the Account Value, the Benefit Base will be reduced to equal the Account Value.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the Annual Benefit Payment are not considered to be excess withdrawals if the owner is enrolled in the Automated Required Minimum Distribution Service.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider except under certain conditions.
