BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
If rider is elected the GMWB when Contract is purchased, initial Purchase Payment is used as the basis for determining the guaranteed withdrawal amount (the Benefit Amount). If rider is elected this benefit at a later date, Contract Value on the date the benefit is added to Contract is used to determine the Benefit Amount. Benefit Payments are subject to a Waiting Period. Presently, owner may choose either a two-year or five-year Waiting Period.
