BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Benefit base amount, which is account value on the date of issue or reset election, increased by subsequent roll-up credits and purchase payments and reduced for excess withdrawals.
BENEFIT BASE — WITHDRAWAL
If withdrawals begin, there are two options from which to choose - 1) income over the owners lifetime; or 2) income over the lifetimes of the owner and spouse. Until withdrawals begin, benefit base amount is increased by a guaranteed roll-up credit at the end of each of the first 10 years from contract effective date or an elected reset. An excess withdrawal terminates current rollup credits until the next reset.
