BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Benefit base is the account value on the date of issue or reset election, increased by subsequent income credits and purchase payments and reduced for withdrawals. After that benefit base is guaranteed to increase each year by income credits. As income base grows, so does annual income payment. The maximum annual income payments is the income percentage multiplied by the benefit base. The income percentage is locked in and will not change once income payments begin.
