BENEFIT DESCRIPTION

The rider provides a guaranteed lifetime income.,Rider is available for purchase with a variable annuity contract if the purchase payment or contract value (if purchased after the contract is issued) is at least $25,000. If Plus Option has been purchased, the owner may elect to receive an increase in the contract value on the 7th rider anniversary equal to the excess of the initial GA plus any purchase payments made within 90 days of the rider effective date over the current contract value. The MAW amount will be doubled during a rider year when the owner/annuitant is age 59 1/2 or older or the owner and spouse (joint life) are both age 65 or older, and one is admitted into a qualified nursing home or equivalent health care facility. The Nursing Home Enhancement applies if the admittance to such facility occurs 60 months or more after the effective date of the rider, the individual was not in the nursing home in the year prior to the effective date of the rider, and upon entering the nursing home, the individual has been confined at least 90 consecutive days. The increase in contract value cannot be elected if any withdrawal has been made, including MAW amounts and RMDs. Making this election will terminate the Plus Option plus the Lincoln Lifetime Income Advantage rider and there will be no further rights to MAW amounts or any other benefits under that rider.
