BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed lifetime payments.,The Guaranteed Payment Phase begins on the date the Account Value decreases to zero, but the Payment Base is more than zero. During this phase, annuitant will receive automatic payments each Contract Year equal to the LPA on the date of the first payment. The payments will continue for lifetime. The Guaranteed Payment Phase will end if the Rider terminates. Rider has following contribution limits: 1) Initial contribution must be at least $25,000 but not more than $1,000,000 if annuitant is 75 or younger ($500,000 if annuitant is 76 or older), without prior approval. 2) Each additional contribution must be at least $1,000. 3) Additional contributions cannot be made after the older Annuitant's 80th birthday or during the Guaranteed Payment Phase. 4) Total contributions cannot be more than $1 million if annuitant is 75 or younger ($500,000 if annuitant is 76 or older), without prior approval.
RIDER CANCELLATION
May be cancelled within 45 days after 5th rider anniversary. Once cancelled, may not be re-elected.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) death, 2) benefit base and contract value reduces to zero, 3) change in ownership, 4) termination of contract, or 5) annuitization.
AVAILABLE WHEN ADDED
Only at contract issue.
SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payment will increase benefit base by dollar-for-dollar amount.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
Payment base may change but withdrawal percentage is locked in at the time of first withdrawal on or after the age 60 contract anniversary and varies depending on age at that time.
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
Upon exercising of Nonguaranteed Withdrawal if Payment Base is more than Account Value, the Payment Base will be reduced by more than the amount of Nonguaranteed Withdrawal.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the LPA are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of annuitant.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider.
