BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Protected Withdrawal Value is equal to the greater of - 1) Account Value at rider issue, plus any additional purchase payments, growing at 5% per year from election of the benefit, or application of the Purchase Payment to the Annuity until the date of first withdrawal or 10th rider anniversary, if earlier; 2) Account Value on the date of first withdrawal, prior to the withdrawal; and 3) highest Account Value on each Annuity anniversary, plus subsequent purchase payments prior to the first withdrawal or the 10th rider anniversary, if earlier.
