BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed annual lifetime withdrawal benefit equal to a percentage of the initial benefit base for the lives of two spouses. Lifetime Withdrawals can begin at any time.,If no Lifetime Withdrawals are made before the 10th anniversary of the rider effective date, policy value will be increased on 10th anniversary. On 10th anniversary, Issuer will add (1) policy value at issue and (2) sum of each Purchase Payment made in first year. If the sum of (a) and (b) is greater than Policy Value on the 10th Anniversary, Issuer will increase Policy Value to equal the sum of (a) and (b).
RIDER CANCELLATION
May be cancelled any time after election.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) surrender, 2) death, 3) annuitization, or 4) benefit base and annual benefit payment reduces to zero.
AVAILABLE WHEN ADDED
No longer available for new purchases.
SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payments increase the benefit base dollar for dollar.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
The Protected Withdrawal Value is reduced each time a withdrawal is made on a dollar-for-dollar basis or a pro rata basis for withdrawals in an annuity year in excess of that amount until the Protected Withdrawal Value is reduced to zero.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the calculated Lifetime Withdrawal benefit do not reduce the benefit base.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider except under certain conditions.
