BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed return of principal with a reset. Benefit also offers two GWB Annual withdrawal options: (1) 5% GWB Annual Withdrawal Option; and (2) 7% GWB Annual Withdrawal Option.,Available if owner's age is 0-85 for NQ; 20-75 for IRA. Rider is not available, if owner are purchased the contract as a TSA or QP.

SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Anytime owner makes an additional contribution, Issuer will recalculate benefit base and withdrawal amount. Benefit base will be increased by the amount of the contribution and withdrawal amount will be equal to the greater of: (i) applicable percentage of the new benefit base; or (ii) the withdrawal amount in effect immediately prior to the additional contribution.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
Withdrawal amount is equal to 5% or 7% of initial benefit base, and is the maximum amount that can withdraw each year without making an excess withdrawal.
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
In case of excess withdrawal, benefit base is first reduced by dollar amount of withdrawal and further adjusted, as 1) If contract value after withdrawal is less than benefit base, benefit base will be reset equal to contract value. 2) If contract value after withdrawal is greater than or equal to benefit base, benefit base will not be adjusted further. 3) Annual benefit payment equals lesser of - 1) applicable percentage of adjusted benefit base, or 2) annual benefit payment prior to excess withdrawal.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the withdrawal amount are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider except under certain conditions.
