BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed lifetime income.,The 7% Spousal Continuation Benefit is only available for election if and when the 7% Lifetime Income Option is elected. The 7% Spousal Continuation Benefit is not available in state NY. If, after beginning the lifetime income withdrawals, the contract value falls to zero, the contract owner has three options as follows: 1) continue withdrawals of no more than the LIB until the death of the contract owner; 2) elect the Age Based Lump Sum Settlement Option; or 3) elect the Underwritten Lump Sum Settlement Option.

SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payments increase the benefit base by dollar for dollar. Subsequent purchase payments may be limited to an aggregate total of $50,000 per calendar year.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
Subsequent purchase payments will increase the LIB by the Lifetime Withdrawal Percent multiplied by the amount of the subsequent purchase payment.
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawals in excess of the benefit amount will reduce the Income Benefit Base by the greater of - 1) dollar amount of the withdrawal in excess of the benefit amount; or 2) ratio of the dollar amount of the excess withdrawal to the Contract Value, multiplied by the Income Benefit Base.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the LIB are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider.
