BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Benefit Account Value (BAV) is used to calculate income payments under the rider or the enhanced death benefit amount. Initially, BAV is equal to the initial premium paid plus the BAV Bonus. Thereafter, BAV will grow for the life of the contract, on each contract anniversary by the amount equals to the preceding year's contract value multiplied by the BAV Multiplier.
BENEFIT BASE — WITHDRAWAL
If, in any contract year, the amount of withdrawal under the contract plus the income payment under the rider, exceeds the free withdrawal under the contract, then a withdrawal charge will apply to the amount exceeding the free withdrawal amount.
