BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed lifetime income.,Rider is available for purchase with a variable annuity contract if the purchase payment or contract value (if purchased after the contract is issued) is at least $25,000. After the first rider anniversary, cumulative additional purchase payments into the contract will be limited to an amount equal to $100,000. The owner/annuitant as well as the spouse under the joint life option must be under age 86 for NQ (age 76 for QP) at the time this rider is elected. To continue the payments under this rider, an annuity payout option must be elected by the last day of the owner's 85th birthday for QP and 99th birthday for NQ.
RIDER CANCELLATION
May be cancelled on or after 5th rider anniversary. Once cancelled may be re-elected.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) owner's 99th (85th for QP) birthday, 2) annuitization, 3) death, 4) surrender, 5)termination of contract, or 6) benefit base reduces to zero.

SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payments increase the GA dollar for dollar and the GAI amount by applicable GAI % multiplied by the amount of the subsequent purchase payment. Additional purchase payments are not allowed if contract value reduces to zero.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
Periodic withdrawals up to the Guaranteed Annual Income (GAI) amount can be made in a rider year during the owner's lifetime (single life) or the lifetime of the owner and spouse (joint life). The GAI withdrawals can begin when the owner (single life) or younger of the owner or spouse (joint life) turn age 55. If the owner (or younger of the owner or spouse, for joint life) are under age 55 on the rider effective date, the initial GAI will be zero. The GAI percent on the date of the first withdrawal is based on the owner's age or the age of the younger joint owner at that time. After the first withdrawal, the GAI amount percent will only increase on a rider anniversary if an applicable higher age band has been reached and after there has been an Automatic Annual Step-Up.
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
When withdrawals in a rider year exceed the MAW amount, the GA is reduced in the same proportion that the contract value is reduced for the excess withdrawal. The GAI amount is reset to the applicable GAI amount % multiplied by the new reduced Income Base.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the GAI amount are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner under joint life option.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider except under certain conditions.
