BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Guaranteed Amount is equal to the initial purchase payment plus the amount of any bonus credit applicable to that purchase payment (or contract value if elected after contract issue) adjusted for subsequent purchase payments, any bonus credits, step-ups and withdrawals. Under 1 Year Automatic Step-Up option, GA will automatically step-up to contract value on each rider year anniversary up to and including 10th rider year, after the 10th benefit year anniversary, another 10-year period of automatic step-ups can be initiated (in writing) if each contract owner and annuitant is under age 81. There is no change in the percentage charge when automatic annual step-ups occur during a 10 year period.
