BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
Rider provides guaranteed lifetime withdrawals (lifetime income payments) and a guaranteed death benefit (quarterly value death benefit).,Owner may elect to receive Lifetime Income Payment monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. On the benefit election date, if initial annual maximum lifetime income payment is less than $100, lifetime income payments are not available and will have incurred higher contract charges without receiving the benefit of a lifetime payment stream, although owner may still have access to the quarterly value death benefit.

Once elected may not be cancelled.

Once elected may not be terminated.

SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payment will increase benefit base by dollar-for-dollar amount. Owner cannot make allocations to this Account once Lifetime Income Payment begin or the older Covered Person reaches age 81.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
Applicable withdrawal percentage is determine by using the Payment Table and the current treasury rate, which is the Ten-year U.S. Constant Maturity Treasury rate.
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
An excess withdrawal is a withdrawal owner take from the retirement protection account while receiving lifetime income payments, that when added to any other withdrawals taken out of the retirement protection account during the benefit year and annual actual payment, is greater than current annual maximum payment. If actual lifetime income payment is less than annual maximum payment, owner can withdraw the difference and Issuer consider that withdrawal to be an additional actual lifetime income payment, and not an excess withdrawal. Excess withdrawals do not include amounts we withdraw for contract charges.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
Any portion of this RMD payment that is withdrawn from the retirement protection account does not change Benefit Base or annual maximum lifetime income payments, but it reduces retirement protection account Death Benefit proportionately.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership is not permitted.
