BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
If the rider effective date is the issue date, the first income value is initially equal to the contract value at the end of the prior business day and thereafter equal to all purchase payments received before the first quarterly anniversary; if owner make any additional purchase payments on or after the first quarterly anniversary and before the first rider anniversary Issuer will add them together and establish a new income value. If the rider effective date occurs after the issue date, the first income value is initially equal to the contract value at the end of the prior business day; if any additional purchase payments has been made during first rider year Issuer adds them together and establish a new Income Value. If additional purchase payments have been made in subsequent rider years, Issuer will establish a new income value each rider year.
