BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
Rider provides guaranteed lifetime income payments called Lifetime Plus Payments that can begin once the minimum exercise age is met, or as late as age 90.,Contract Value on the rider effective date must be at least $10,000. Income Protector is not available if contract ever included Income Focus.
RIDER CANCELLATION
May be terminated on any quarterly anniversary. Once cancelled may not be re-elected.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) annuitization, 2) surrender, 3) death, 4) termination of contract, or 5) annuitant's 91st birthday.

No longer available for new purchases.
SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
On each rider year owner may not make subsequent purchase payments more than the initial amount without prior approval from Issuer. Subsequent purchase payment will increase benefit base by dollar-for-dollar amount.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
Excess Withdrawals reduces the Benefit Base and annual maximum Lifetime Plus Payment proportionately by the percentage of Contract Value withdrawn.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the Lifetime Plus Payments are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit under certain conditions after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership is not permitted.
OTHER INFO
If Quarterly Value Death Benefit is elected owner must also select Income Protector or Investment Protector at issue.
