BENEFIT BASE — GENERAL
Guaranteed Amount is equal to the initial purchase payment plus the amount of any bonus credit applicable to that purchase payment (or contract value if elected after contract issue) adjusted for subsequent purchase payments, any bonus credits, step-ups and withdrawals. Under 5 Year Elective Step-Up option, after the 5th benefit year anniversary, another 5-year period of step-ups can be initiated (in writing).
