BENEFIT DESCRIPTION
The rider provides a guaranteed return of principal. It also provides a guaranteed lifetime benefit if the age at first withdrawal is 65 or older.,The Guaranteed Amount (GA) is a value used to calculate withdrawal benefit under this rider. If rider is elected on the base policy contract date, initial GA is equal to initial purchase payment. If rider is elected after the base policy contract date, initial GA is equal to Contract Value on effective date of the rider. After the first rider anniversary, cumulative additional purchase payments into the contract will be limited to an amount equal to $100,000.
RIDER CANCELLATION
May be cancelled after 5th rider or step-up anniversary. Once cancelled may be re-elected.
RIDER TERMINATION
Benefit will automatically terminate upon earliest of - 1) change in ownership, 2) annuitization, 3) election of i4LIFE Advantage, 4) termination of contract, or 5) benefit base reduces to zero.

No longer available for new purchases.
SUBSEQUENT PREMIUM
Subsequent purchase payments increase the benefit base dollar for dollar.
WITHDRAWAL NOTES
If the GA is later recalculated for additional purchase payments or automatic step-ups, the Maximum Annual Withdrawal (MAW) amount will be reset to equal 5% multiplied by the new GA. If withdrawals in a rider year exceed the MAW amount, the MAW will be reset to the lesser of (1) the MAW amount immediately before the withdrawal and (2) the greater of (a) 5% of the reduced GA or (b) 5% of the contract value immediately following the withdrawal. If the first withdrawal is taken before the owner's age 65 (or spouse's age 65, for joint life) annual withdrawals up to the MAW amount will be paid until the GA is depleted. If no withdrawals are taken before the owner (and spouse, for joint life) are age 65, withdrawals of the MAW amount are guaranteed for the lifetime of the owner (and spouse, for joint life).
PARTIAL WITHDRAWALS
When withdrawals in a rider year exceed the MAW amount, the GA is reduced to the lesser of (1) the Contract Value immediately after the withdrawal or (2) the GA immediately prior to the withdrawal less the amount of the withdrawal. The MAW amount will be reset to the lesser of (1) the MAW amount immediately before the withdrawal and (2) the greater of (a) 5% of the reduced GA or (b) 5% of the contract value immediately following the withdrawal.
REQUIRED MIN DISTRIBUTIONS
RMD withdrawals in excess of the MAW amount are not considered to be excess withdrawals.
SPOUSAL CONTINUATION OPTION
Surviving spouse may elect to continue benefit after death of owner.
EFFECT CHANGE OWNERSHIP
Change in ownership will result in termination of rider except under certain conditions.
