DESCRIPTION
On each Benefit Year anniversary, the Protected Income Base will be increased by an Enhancement, if there are no withdrawals in the preceding Benefit Year. / Any Purchase Payments made within the first 90 days after the effective date of the rider will be included in the Enhancement Base for purposes of calculating the 6% Enhancement, if applicable, on the first Benefit Year anniversary. The 6% Enhancement is not available on any Benefit Year anniversary if an Account Value Step-up to the Protected Income Base occurs, or where there has been a withdrawal of Contract Value (including a Protected Annual Income payment) in the preceding Benefit Year.
