The MassMutual Premier Voyage is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum contribution is $10,000 qualified and non-qualified (60 Days are allowed for all purchase payments to be submitted). Subsequent payments may only be made on the renewal date of a multi-year guarantee period. An annual 10% free withdrawal is available. Systematic withdrawals are an option. Surrender charges vary by rate term chosen and are waived in the event of death, free withdrawals, required minimum distributions, most annuity options, entrance to an nursing home or hospital, or diagnosis of a terminal illness. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
