The American Eagle (Non-Qualified) is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum initial contribution is $5,000. Withdrawals are on an interest only basis and are allowed up to 10% of the policy accumulation value. Systematic withdrawals are an option. Surrender charges are eight years in length and are waived only in the event of death, admittance into a hospital, or entrance in to a nursing home.
