The Athene NY MYG Assure 7 is a single premium deferred annuity. The initial minimum contribution is $5,000 qualified and non-qualified. The Initial Interest Rate for this strategy is set at issue and is guaranteed for one year. There is an annual 10% free withdrawal of accumulated value available during the first contract year. Systematic withdrawal is an option. Surrender charges are seven years in duration and are waived in the event of death, confined to a Qualified Care Facility or diagnosis of a terminal illness. The Initial Minimum Guaranteed Interest Rate is established on the Contract Date and is guaranteed for the Multi-Year Fixed Strategy Term Period. At the end of the Multi-Year Fixed Strategy Term Period, the Minimum Guaranteed Interest rate will be redetermined on each Contract Anniversary and is guaranteed never to be less than 1.00%. Withdrawals taken prior to age 59 1/2 may be subject to IRS penalties and any withdrawals taken during the Surrender Charge Period above the penalty-free amount will be subject to Surrender Charges.
