Lifetime GRIP Benefit

This rider will provide a lifetime withdrawal.

The reset date is: (1) rider effective date; (2) contract anniversary on which owner elects to reset the benefit base amount; (3) any date before the benefit start date on which ownership of the contract is transferred to the spouse of the insured if a spousal benefit is not in effect and account value is less than the benefit base amount; and (4) any date before the benefit start date that would have been the death benefit valuation date if a spousal benefit is not in effect and the spouse of the insured becomes the successor owner of the contract.
